Come On In. Meet The Family.
And Experience The “Chiquita Spirit!”

Inside every Food Market La Chiquita and Taqueria you’ll feel it. The warm, inviting spirit. It’s been at the heart of everything we do since our first neighborhood store opened more than 30 years ago. Today, as a trusted full-line market serving communities all around Chicagoland, we’re proud to remain an independently owned family grocery store—committed to giving you and your family the very best, every single day.

Generation to generation, the spirit lives on.

So what exactly is it? It’s the welcoming smiles of our friendly associates. The bright, colorful murals on our walls. The smell of fresh-baked breads and treats. The excitement and flavors of our vibrant in-store Taquerias (restaurants). The unbeatable freshness of our perfectly ripe produce and hand trimmed meats. The convenience of just-sliced deli selections and from-scratch meals. And the exceptional customer service that keeps you coming back again and again.

Stop in to see us. We carry all the brand-name favorites and essential household staples you need, along with the authentic homemade specialties you’ll love. And we’ll get to know you…like family, too.
